Dr. Ali Hunt graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine, Seattle and completed her residency in Family Medicine at Sutter Health in Sacramento/Davis, CA. She completed both the UWSOM Pathway Certificates in Hispanic Health and Global Health. During residency, she served as volunteer Medical Director for Clinica Tepati (a free migrant clinic in Sacramento). She now volunteers with the UCSF/Sidewalk School collaboration providing telemedicine consultations in Mexico for asylum seekers. Dr. Hunt's proudest award is, "Resident Most Likely to Bring Up the Benefits of Breastfeeding During a Lecture on A-Fib." Recently board-certified in Breastfeeding and Lactation Medicine, she is starting a non-profit organization providing free, in-home consultations to new parents/caregivers: Nourishing Newborns. She is infamous for bringing her babies on a myriad of backcountry adventures with Dr. Ben Hunt.
